Wild fantasy is superimposed on this mixture of the explainable and the inexplicable, creating representations that often have nothing to do with reality. And it happens that the parents themselves add fuel to the fire: they frighten the child with a babayka who can steal him. The reasons for unreasonable anxiety can also be: tension in the family, parents ignoring the child's needs, his questions, increased control, and so on.

The task of parents is to notice in time the feeling of fear in the child and dispel all his doubts, as well as, if necessary, correct their own behavior. Otherwise, complications cannot be avoided. Growing up, the child will have difficulty making new acquaintances, will be constantly depressed. His social apathy will become a significant obstacle to his self-realization.

You can help a child in a situation of increased anxiety. Rituals can save the day. For example, most of the fears are associated with going to bed. If the child is afraid of being left alone, a clear ritual should be started, which will be repeated from day to day: first send him to wash, brush his teeth, then put on his pajamas, read a fairy tale and say good night. Do not turn off the light if the child asks. Before laying down, make sure that the child calms down in time, all outdoor games should be finished a couple of hours before bedtime. Do not feed him before bed - the body must rest at night, in addition, a full stomach can cause nightmares.
