Men don't take subtle hints. Therefore, do not be annoyed if, in response to your stories about the best theaters in the city and museums, he simply nods his head and agrees. He will perceive these lectures and memories separately from your current desires and plans, abstracted from reality, and logically, this behavior is fair. After all, he is not obliged to read your thoughts to guess desires.
Step 2
Much more effective is the wording that begins with the word "I want". But it also contains some doubts and lack of accurate information, for example: "I want to go to the theater for a musical." He, perhaps, will perceive your desire, but he will certainly postpone it as a non-urgent and unnecessary thought. In addition, your desire may not be related to his presence. After all, the phrase “with you” is not mentioned in the wording. But the mention of the pronoun does not guarantee success - he will perceive the remark as a speech about an event that may someday happen.
Step 3
Just offer him a meeting. Feel free to use imperative verbs, but soften them with the wording: "Please invite me to a new film", "Please come with me to the exhibition of this artist." Do not be afraid of refusal on his part: if he likes you, he will gladly fulfill your request and will go with you wherever you go. In fact, the place does not matter, only your presence will be important.
Step 4
Invite him yourself. Emancipation allows women to do more than just wear pants. You can independently make decisions and make suggestions for your joint leisure. Western European tradition says that paying for all entertainment is the responsibility of the inviting partner. In Russia, a man pays anyway anyway.
