Before you wish your child a Happy New Year, create an appropriate environment in the apartment and maintain faith in a miracle. If a child hears at seven phrases that Santa Claus does not exist, then it will not be easy to convince the baby in his presence. Start preparatory work in the fall, telling the little ones that winter is coming soon, there will be a holiday and gifts. You can try to write a letter to Santa Claus and wait for an answer that can be sent to the mail by close friends or relatives. It is important that the handwriting in the letter is unfamiliar to the child, otherwise all the intrigue will be lost at the beginning of the celebration.

Decorate your apartment by placing a Christmas tree. Let your child take part in decorating it. So he will be able to realize his involvement in the holiday and will wait for its coming with great trepidation. In this case, it is advisable to create several toys with your own hands - it does not matter whether it is a paper flashlight or a tangerine suspended on a string.

At the age of three to five, you can wish children a Happy New Year through specially invited fairy-tale characters. Parents can only attend to the purchase of a gift and call the appropriate workers. At school age, such a trick is unlikely to pass, so hurry up to make a miracle with your own hands at a time when it is still possible.

The gift plays an important role in the whole celebration. Parents will find out what the child wants to get in advance and it is advisable not to postpone the purchase of the necessary thing for the last days before the holiday. Otherwise, you may find yourself in a situation that the desired toy simply will not be on sale. If possible, place it not under the tree, but using imagination. For example, small items such as a watch or a cell phone can simply be hung on the branches of a Christmas tree. So emotions about the mine of the gift will be brighter.
