In order to prevent your child from showing signs of digestive upset and food allergies, it is important to strictly follow the instructions for introducing certain ingredients into the baby's diet.

Step 1
You should start feeding your baby with liquids - fruit juices and sugar-free nectars. They contain potassium, iron and organic matter needed by the growing body.
Step 2
Juices can be purchased at the store (pay attention to the packaging - they must be approved for baby food) or made by yourself. The last option is more preferable, because contains more vitamins. Juices can be diluted with boiled water, mixing of fruits that are combined with each other is also allowed.
Step 3
Fruit and vegetable purees can also be purchased at the store or made at home. You can start complementary foods with such mixtures from four to five months.
Step 4
The mixture can be made using a blender or a special grater. Mix vegetables can be raw or steamed. In the first case, the amount of vitamins and nutrients that your child will receive will be incomparably greater.
Step 5
You should not use exotic and dark-colored foods to prepare the mixture for up to five months - at such an early age, they can cause allergies in the child.
Step 6
After six months, you can add yogurt, cottage cheese or cereals in small quantities to the mixture.
Step 7
There is no need to add salt or sugar to infant formula.
Step 8
Upon reaching the age of five months, mashed potatoes can be made multicomponent, and milk can also be introduced into it.
Step 9
Before serving, the mixture should be heated to a temperature of 40-50 degrees.
Step 10
After six months, cereals cooked in water or milk are introduced into the child's diet. Porridge is considered an ideal food for the transition from liquid food to solid food.
Step 11
You can cook porridge for up to a year, while cow's milk is contraindicated for a baby, using breast milk.
Step 12
After a year, the child can be introduced to fermented milk products - kefir, yogurt, acidophilic mixtures. It is not recommended to do this earlier, because the child should form his own healthy microflora.
