Mother's milk is a nutrient fluid that is produced by a woman's mammary glands. Milk gives the baby immunity and regulates his growth. Milk includes: fat, protein, solids, minerals and lactose.
Instructions
Step 1
Try to feed your baby as often as possible. Feed him as long as possible in one feeding.
Step 2
Try to feed your baby with both breasts at each feed. Offer him one breast first? Let him suck it until you hear him swallow. After he has given up the first breast, offer him the second. The next feeding must be started with the breast that he sucked last, so he can fully suck out the fatty "back" milk.
Step 3
The baby usually actively suckles for 15-30 minutes. Do not lift your baby off the breast while he is still sucking.
Step 4
Apply the baby correctly to the breast: the lips should not be on the nipple, but on the areola.
Step 5
Change your breasts frequently if your baby suckles sluggishly.
Step 6
Don't give your baby anything other than a breast, not even a pacifier. If the baby needs additional food, then give it from a spoon.
Step 7
During this difficult time, do not forget about yourself. Sleep, rest, eat well, and drink plenty of fluids.
