The inheritance of blood groups, as well as the Rh factor, occurs according to the laws of genetics. Using them, you can easily highlight possible options and guess what blood type your unborn child will have. There are tables and diagrams for this.
Instructions
Step 1
The division of blood into four groups is based on the AB0 system. A and B are erythrocyte antigens. If they are absent in a person, then his blood group is the first. If there is only A, but no B, then the second, only B - the third, A and B - the fourth. The most accurate determination of blood belonging to a particular group can be determined exclusively in laboratory conditions.
Step 2
Think of the school biology curriculum. The child is transmitted from the absence or presence of agglutinogens (A, B or 0).
Step 3
In a simplified scheme, the genotypes of people of different blood groups are written as follows: - the first blood group - 00. One of them is transmitted from the mother, the other from the father. Consequently, the child also inherits the first blood group; - if you and your spouse have the second blood group AA or A0, then the child will have blood of the first or second group (A or 0); - parents with the third group BB or B0 will expect a baby with the first or third group; - if mom and dad have a fourth group, then their son or daughter will have either a second, or a third, or a fourth group.
Step 4
Use the table to calculate the likelihood of a child inheriting a particular blood type from a parent. For example: if one of the parents has the fourth blood group, and the other has the first, then the child will receive either the third or the second group. In such a family, the blood type of the crumbs will never coincide with the parent's
Step 5
Remember that blood type calculated using special tables and charts is not considered final. You can get accurate information on the blood type and Rh factor of your baby only in the laboratory. The group is determined by the analysis of venous blood.
