This is the easiest way to use eggs, however, it is original enough to interest even the biggest fickle in them. Several options for how you can present quail eggs to children, while not forgetting to take into account age and individual food reactions:
- mice from eggs, ears and tails of which are made from pieces of protein, and eyes and mouth from pieces of dark-colored vegetables;
- mushrooms, which are based on quail eggs with tips cut off for stability, and instead of a hat, halves from small tomatoes are worn;
- stuffed eggs, when the yolk is ground to a paste state, and a wide variety of products are added to it, from sour cream and herbs to herring paste or fish caviar;
- mini kebabs on small skewers, the composition of which may be different and include combinations of eggs with vegetables, cheese, olives or pitted olives, pieces of meat products, which allows you to form a bright and original skewer in accordance with the taste preferences of the baby.
Eggs as a baking ingredient
This is another easy way to use eggs. The desire of parents to feed the child with fresh dishes is quite understandable, but sometimes it is difficult to bring this to life due to the fact that a rather large portion of the final product is obtained from the minimum of ingredients for baking. Whereas when using quail eggs, you can easily knead the dough for one cheesecake or bake a casserole in a miniature silicone mold. For a bunch of dough, only 1 egg is enough for one serving.
Other recipes from quail eggs for children
The classic of the genre is the omelet. To prepare it, several quail eggs are beaten with milk or sour cream until smooth, and they can be brought to readiness both in a pan, and in a microwave oven, multicooker or steam. You can also add vegetables, cheese and meat products to this omelet. Raw eggs can be added to minced meat for meatballs, meatballs or cutlets to smooth and maintain the shape of the finished product. Boiled eggs are used in a variety of salads, pie fillings and more. Even if the child does not want to eat eggs in their pure form, there are recipes with which you can diversify the diet without conflict with the baby. To do this, it is enough to grind the eggs on a grater and add to the green cabbage soup, a side dish of rice with cheese and herbs, to the sauce for meat or salad.
