Many psychologists talk about the beneficial effect of listening to music on the psychological state of a person, including a child. You can start listening to music even at the time of pregnancy. Many mothers use listening to music “together” as a special kind of communication. The positive emotions that the mother experiences while listening to music are transmitted to the baby.

Necessary

  • - CDs with your favorite music;
  • - tape recorder, computer or player;

Instructions

Step 1

Limit your child's radio access. While he is still small, try not to let the kid listen to modern popular music (foreign or Russian). As a rule, contemporary pop music does not have a particularly strong intellectual or moral charge. Therefore, a small person should start acquaintance with the world of music with more serious things.

Step 2

Start by listening to children's music collections. They include songs from cartoons or fairy-tale films known to everyone from childhood. These can be purchased at any music store. Advanced parents can use the Internet and download children's songs from special sites. This will be doubly convenient, because then you can compile the selection yourself. And listen with the baby to those songs that you have chosen yourself.

Step 3

Play music while playing. If the child is busy with some kind of active game, put on more dynamic compositions. If he fiddles with toys (assembles a constructor, plays with cars or dolls), include more lyrical, restrained songs.

Step 4

Put on the music when the child is doing some kind of creative work. For example, draws. The music will stimulate his imagination. You can even ask him to draw a melody that he hears. Or the image that this composition gives rise to in him.

Step 5

Let your child understand that music is an independent art form and therefore requires special treatment. Therefore, learn to listen to music. To do this, put everything aside, sit comfortably (you can even lie down on the sofa or on the carpet) and turn on the music.

Step 6

Try to immerse yourself in the music. Ask your child to follow the movement of the melody. Teach him to distinguish between tools. To do this, before listening, show him how the instruments look, what kind of sound they make (pictures and sounds can be downloaded on the Internet).
