If there were no delays before, then pregnancy can be assumed.

Be guided by the fact that with an average 28-day menstrual cycle, ovulation occurs approximately in the middle of it, that is, on day 14, but each woman individually can have shifts in the day of ovulation by 1-2 days both in one and the other side of the cycle … The day of ovulation can be established using special tests or by measuring the basal temperature throughout the entire cycle - the first phase of the cycle is usually below 37 degrees, on the day of ovulation there is a slight decrease, and in the second phase - a sharp jump or gradual increase. If, with a delay in the menstrual cycle, the level of rectal (basal) temperature is higher than 37 degrees for more than 3 days in a row, then pregnancy is likely.

Consider when calculating that sperm cells sometimes retain the ability to fertilize for up to 5-7 days, but the "life" of the egg is short - about 24 hours. Therefore, knowing the date of ovulation, it is possible to determine the day of the beginning of pregnancy - it coincides with the moment of fertilization of the egg by the sperm. From that day on, you can count how many days the pregnancy lasts.
