When teaching at home, it is important not to overlook such an important element of overall development as the ability to write numbers. As in everything related to the education and upbringing of children, the approach to this type of study should be comprehensive.
Instructions
Step 1
Classes should take place in a playful way and, possibly, with the participation of toys-teachers, toys-assistants.
Step 2
Let one lesson last 10-15 minutes, depending on the child's perseverance and interest. In one session, you can use 2-3 of the exercises below.
Step 3
Place a number printed on smooth paper in front of your child. Invite your finger to circle it several times. Each time, clearly state the number that the child is circling.
Step 4
Take counting sticks and teach your child to add numbers from counting sticks. In addition to numbers, add geometric shapes, letters, houses from sticks.
Step 5
Sprinkle a thin layer of semolina on a piece of paper and invite your child to draw numbers on the semolina. Instead of semolina, you can use colored sand for creativity.
Step 6
Use books with numbers for practice, in which you can draw with felt-tip pens, and then erase what you have drawn. In these manuals, the child is encouraged to circle the numbers along the dotted lines. Instead of books, you can also use cards with a similar principle of work.
Step 7
Place in front of you and in front of the child on an album sheet. And invite him to repeat the spelling of the numbers after you. When drawing numbers at the same time as your child, use the principle of movement from point to point.
Step 8
Taking short breaks between writing numbers, do finger warm-ups.
Step 9
Use number stencil books for entertainment. They can be used at the initial stage of a child's acquaintance with numbers.
Step 10
Use a trick to keep your child's attention on writing numbers. Invite your child to participate in the focus. Place a copy sheet (preferably colored) between the two sheets, and when the child finishes writing the number, show that it has "crossed over" to the second sheet.
Step 11
To teach writing skills, you can use a variety of children's mathematics, designed specifically for teaching children to count at home.
