Step 1
Imagine each number as a picture of an object or animal, for example, draw a two as a swan, and an eight as glasses. Children often confuse similar numbers, such as 3 and 8, 4 and 7. Step 2
Find children's poems, riddles, books and coloring pages with numbers. Get educational toys. Review the numbers you have learned at any free time. For example, while changing clothes. Let the child lie on his stomach, and you draw a number on his back with your finger. The kid must guess which number you represented.
Step 3
Create different games to keep your baby entertained. For example, draw numbers from 1 to 9 on paper and separately drawings similar to these numbers. Ask your child to find a match between the image of the number and the picture.
Step 4
Pick up pictures where numbers are depicted along with objects or animals. Let the baby carefully examine the drawing and name which numbers are depicted on it. Then complicate the task - let the kid answer the same question with his eyes closed. Draw some numbers on paper, for example, 1, 3, 5, 8. Have your child name the missing numbers in the picture.
Step 5
Cut the numbers out of cardboard. Let the baby, with his eyes closed, determine by touch which number is in his hands. Then cut each number in two and have your child reconstruct each graphic of the number. When the baby is easy to cope with this task, cut the cardboard numbers into 3, 5, 6 pieces.
Step 6
Do not put pressure on the child, be patient and do not get angry if the child cannot immediately remember material that is simple in your opinion. Explaining the meanings of the numbers, draw funny pictures on a regular sheet of paper. So you can interest your child, and thereby speed up the memorization process.
