Opinions differ on whether to start juicing complementary foods, although just a few decades ago, pediatricians recommended these as the first foods for the baby. Today, many believe that there is no need to rush so much, and before starting complementary feeding, mothers need to find out certain of its rules.
It is necessary
Apple juice
Instructions
Step 1
Buy the juice at the store or make your own. With ready-made baby food, it is much easier to organize a child's meal, since you can be sure that the apples from which it is made do not contain harmful substances. The only drawback is the relatively high price of one package, given that at first the child needs a minimum amount of juice, and an open package can be stored only for a day, then the parents will have to finish the expensive juice.
Step 2
If time permits and you have fresh apples grown by yourself, prepare the juice yourself. It's very simple and fast enough. Wash the apple well, grate it on a plastic grater and squeeze the juice through a sterile bandage or cheesecloth. In its pure form, such juice is too concentrated, so dilute it with boiled water one to one. Freshly squeezed juice retains its beneficial properties for 30 minutes, so prepare it immediately before drinking.
Step 3
Start injecting juice in small doses. To do this, offer your child no more than a teaspoon of the product in the morning feed. If during the day allergic manifestations on the skin did not occur, the dose is slightly increased the next day. A portion of juice is brought up to the first age norm of 30 grams in a week. Before introducing apple juice into complementary foods, remember that a child should drink 100 grams of juice only a year, so you cannot abuse its amount.
