When dressing a child in spring, one must remember about one danger - overheating. It is dangerous because, when we overheat, we begin to undress a crying child covered in sweat. There comes an instant change in the temperature regime, hypothermia and, as a result, a disease.
Instructions
Step 1
It is absolutely unacceptable to wrap up a baby in five blankets and overalls, and at the same time go in a T-shirt. The "well, it's small" argument isn't true. A child has the same skin as an adult, just the perception of temperatures is more dynamic. Babies are born with normal perceptions of heat, sun, coolness and wind. Do not try to protect your child too much from these natural phenomena. Firstly, you can overheat the child, he will start crying and insist on removing the extra layers of clothing. Undressing in this case can lead to illness. In addition, you can raise a "greenhouse" child, which can also lead later to frequent colds and weakened immunity.
Step 2
The basis for the child's clothes is thin cotton. It can be a jumpsuit or a suit made of undershirts and panties. If it's warm outside, then you can put on a terry jumpsuit over this. Tie a light cap on your head. If it gets colder outside, then the terry jumpsuit should be replaced with a fleece one, cover the child with a blanket. It is necessary to put on a hat knitted of fine natural wool on your head. If you are not sure whether to put on an extra layer of clothing on your child or not, the answer is one - do not wear it. It is better to take things with you, put them on if necessary. For older children, these are jackets and sweaters; for babies, you can take an additional blanket.
Step 3
If the sun is shining outside, feel free to remove excess layers of clothing from the child, giving him the opportunity to sunbathe. Leave him in his vest. Don't forget to take off your cap and socks. There are many receptors on the legs, they need to be developed. In order to check whether the child is hot or not, touch his arms, legs and nose. If they are cool, the child is comfortable, if they are cold, you need to dress him. If the child's body is covered with perspiration, he begins to sweat and be capricious, he is very hot. It is necessary to remove excess layers of clothing, just not all at once, but one at a time, at intervals, allowing the child to get used to the new temperature.
