The majority of preschoolers and primary school students, despite their young age, can no longer imagine their life without gadgets and a computer. Parents understand that this is dangerous, but not everyone knows how to deal with it.
Modern reality is inseparable from technological innovations of this kind. The child sincerely does not understand why he is limited in such entertainments by his parents, who themselves spend the whole day in front of the monitor. The older generation faces a dilemma: on the one hand, life without electronic devices in today's world is simply uncomfortable, and on the other hand, the child's dependence on the virtual world is frightening. But a compromise can be found in such a situation: dosed access to electronic toys will not harm the child's psyche and will save parents' nerves.
The more hobbies a child has, the less time he will spend on the Internet or with a gadget in his hands. Direct the attention of your child to creative pursuits, taking into account his interests, in this way you will be able to reduce the importance of the virtual world.
• From an early age, introduce your child to the arts, crafts, animals and plants. Engage with him in the manufacture of various crafts, collecting, get a pet or set up a mini garden-vegetable garden.
• Make one or two days a week a weekend away from devices. At this time, try not to use the computer yourself. Entrust the child with the choice of entertainment for these days, but adjust it in accordance with reasonable limits.
The opinion of many parents that the Internet is evil is wrong. The most interesting museums in the world are available on the vastness of the World Wide Web, you can look at the most ancient architectural structures, learn how to create music, unique photos, draw models of fashionable clothes and much, much more. You just need to correctly convey this to the consciousness of the child, teach him to separate the necessary from the harmful. Explain that visiting unfamiliar and incomprehensible sites can harm not only himself but also his favorite toy. Did the child ask a question you don't know the answer to? Find the answer with him on the Internet, at the same time and teach him how to use search engines. Make it a rule to explain and discuss, and not scold, then the child will share with you what he saw and heard, and you can tell him "what is good and what is bad."
Real life caution applies to the Internet as well. You cannot communicate with strangers, give them your phone number and home address. Even those who claim to be personally acquainted with one of the parents should politely refuse and end the dialogue. The child's social media accounts should be as secure as possible, do not forget to look at them from time to time, but do not turn control into total repression. The child should share with you new impressions not from under the stick, but with pleasure. Explain to your child that spending many hours in front of a computer monitor can damage eyesight, cause spinal problems and other unpleasant health complications.
Long-term shooting games trigger an adrenaline rush that drives aggressiveness in the real world. The child becomes uncontrollable, rude, his speech can be incoherent and confused. This state can be called in one word "played out". This should not be allowed! But if it happened, then
• you need to insist on water procedures (shower or bath), • give him a glass of cool drink to restore the water balance in the body, disturbed by intoxication as a result of the release of adrenaline, • make him move to relieve muscle tension.
In the future, make sure that computer games alternate with active walks in the air, dose the time of devices with personal communication.
Technological innovations have made the childhood of our children completely different from ours, but the negative impact of gadgets can cause irreparable harm to health. Compliance with certain rules will help to avoid problems and exclude the occurrence of painful dependence on the computer.
