Fully preparing for the birth of a child is a pipe dream of most parents. However, taking care of your everyday life after the birth of your child will not be superfluous.
First of all, you need to get ready for the hospital. There, depending on the specific maternity hospital, you may need: several disposable diapers, slippers, a dressing gown or other comfortable clothing, a pair of "nighties", non-carbonated drinking water in a bottle (if there are a lot of women in childbirth, your sisters may not be able to drink right away. react), a pair of disposable panties, a set of changeable underwear, two pairs of socks, a mobile phone for communication with relatives and husband - all this is just the necessary minimum. The next stage is postpartum. Here, too, you can make a list of essentials: baby soap, baby cream (domestic is no worse than imported counterparts), hats, socks and "scratches", in some maternity hospitals do not give out diapers, so it is also advisable to stock up on them, cream for cracked nipples (For example, Bepanten), silicone breast pads (if nipples are sensitive), disposable breast pads (if there is too much milk), a breast pump (if not enough milk is produced). Baby care products, diapers and bedding are usually provided by the maternity hospital.
In addition to all of the above, you should thoroughly prepare the house for the appearance of a new family member. The day after discharge (provided that you have been vaccinated), you can already bathe your baby, so you will need a bath. For convenience, you can purchase a special stand - "slide" in the bath. Of course, you will need a cot, bedding, a chest of drawers with a changing table will become a very convenient attribute. Ten pieces (for starters) of nappies - warm and thin. And, of course, a stroller and clothes for walking.
