Step 1
All documentation on marriage is drawn up in strict accordance with the passport data of people entering the union. If the bride and groom are citizens of the Russian Federation, then you can go through the procedure for state registration of marriage in any registry office in the country. Obtaining a marriage certificate will take time: submit documents in advance. Find out on what days and at what time the registry office is open, in which you are going to marry with your soul mate. As soon as the opportunity arises, go there to write a joint statement. You will be given a sample of it directly at the registry office. You can also download it from the Internet, print it and fill it in yourself. You can fill in the fields of the application with an ordinary ballpoint or gel pen. Write all the information as legibly as possible: the registry office employees will subsequently enter them in the marriage certificate.
Step 2
When you apply for marriage, show passports confirming the termination of the previous marriage (if the person was previously married), documents, as well as permission to marry legally (applies to minors).
Step 3
For state registration of marriage (including for the issuance of a marriage certificate), you will need to pay a state fee equal to one minimum wage. Take the receipt of payment with you when you go to write the joint statement. If you or your spouse cannot come to the registry office to submit a joint application, you can write separate applications. The signature of a person who cannot appear at the registry office must be notarized.
Step 4
From the moment of filing a joint application to the date of marriage, it usually takes about 1 calendar month. In any case, when you submit a joint application, decide with your future husband (wife) on what date you want to set the day of the wedding. On the day of registration of the marriage, you and your spouse will have to sign the corresponding certificate. Check carefully if all the data is correct.
