Instructions

Step 1

Try not to bandage the child's abrasions. They heal much faster in the open air than under a bandage or adhesive tape. Abrasions are usually very painful. it is in the upper layers of the skin that there are many nerve endings. Rinse the wound with hydrogen peroxide, gently clean the dirt around it with boiled water. Next, treat the abrasion with some kind of antiseptic, for example, an alcohol solution, brilliant green, calendula decoction. If you don't have an antiseptic on hand, apply a bandage soaked in strong salt solution to the abrasion (1 tablespoon per glass of water). Do not use cotton wool over the abrasion to prevent the villi from sticking to the wound.

Step 2

Contaminated wounds are best cleaned on their own by bleeding, which flushes dirt and infectious agents out. But still, rinse the wound with clean boiled or mineral water. Never apply ointment, spray, or powder to an open wound. After cleaning the damage from contamination, treat it with hydrogen peroxide, then any antiseptic. Apply a sterile dressing to the wound as needed.

Step 3

Use clean, alcohol-treated tweezers to remove splinters or splinters that most commonly cause inflammation on children's skin. Grab the splinter close to its base and try to pull it out at the same angle at which it dug into the baby's skin. Wipe the damaged area of the baby's skin, freed from a splinter or splinter, with any disinfectant.

Step 4

If your baby bumps his head, entrust the examination of such a wound to a specialist. Only a doctor can identify possible internal damage. You can only give the baby first aid by covering the wound with a sterile bandage, which is better to fix with the help of plasters.

Step 5

Wounds from bites of, for example, dogs or rats, should be treated by a doctor, because very often various infectious agents are present on the teeth of animals.
