The development of fine motor skills in a child should be considered at a very early age. Already from 1 year old, you can conduct special classes with the baby.
Instructions
Step 1
At the age of 1 year, the child already knows how to do a lot with his hands, for example, tearing paper and pouring small objects. It's time for the kid to play with the sorters, get acquainted with the insert frames, pyramids and constructors. An excellent option for the development of fine motor skills at the age of 1-2 years is playing in the sandbox. In addition, teach your child to transfer liquids from one container to another, work with various types of fasteners, draw with your finger and glue stickers. Just remember that a child must be supervised to play with small objects.
Step 2
At 2 years of age, finger gymnastics will be very relevant for the development of fine motor skills. There are many fairy tales and rhymes to help you get your baby interested. Teach your child little by little how to handle light household chores. He can already wipe off a puddle of water, wipe a shelf or table, sweep, help hang out the laundry. Teach your baby to undress on his own, and then dress. Complicate the games described in the first step. Teach your toddler to carry objects with tongs (for example, a snowmaker can be used as tongs).
Step 3
As you are about 3 years old, start looking for objects by touch with your child. You can use a bag or box for this. Place a few items in there and ask your toddler to pull them out one at a time. In addition, it is worth purchasing a special lacing so that the child learns to pass the lace through the holes. If at the age of two the baby is just learning to draw and paint, now he may already be able to draw lines through certain points.
