The neonatal period is a very short time period, but the most memorable for the mother. This is the first month of a baby's life. A tiny living lump is brought into the house and from then on everything revolves around it. The newborn gradually learns to live outside the mother's body and his activity is still very low. He can't do anything, but his mother is already ready to play with him and come up with interesting activities for him.

Instructions

Step 1

All classes with a newborn are related to the characteristics of his development during this period, and are aimed at stimulating the development of the first skills. After a month, he must learn to focus his gaze on an object or the face of a loved one, turn his head at sounds and voices, and look at the faces of others. At 1 month old, the baby makes attempts to keep the head straight. The main sign of the end of the neonatal period is a revitalization complex. This is a joyful reaction of a baby at the sight of an adult and the first smile of a baby. All games with a newborn are aimed at stimulating the development of these first skills.

Step 2

The main way to achieve all these goals is to communicate with the baby. Every day, while changing the diaper, bathing, waking the baby, the mother should communicate with him. Talk in a soft and calm tone, explain to him what she is doing. You can hum songs, tell nursery rhymes. The newborn must learn to recognize the faces and voices of loved ones. To do this, approach the baby more often and talk to him. He does not understand words, but he understands intonation well.

The kid must learn to respond to sounds and voices. Stand by the bed so that he does not see you and quietly call the baby. Watch his reaction. Call him a few more times. Gradually, he will begin to turn his head in search of mom. You can also use a bell, rattle, squeaker. At the end of the game, be sure to show the baby the object that made sounds. Let the baby see it.

Step 3

The kid must learn to focus on objects. To do this, you can use a rattle or finger puppet theater. Show your baby the rattle by placing it in front of his face until he pays attention to it. In this case, you can hum songs or introduce your baby to this toy. When he learns to focus his gaze, try to slightly move the rattle to the side so that the baby learns to follow the object with his gaze. Finger puppet theater can also be of interest to a newborn. Put the dolls on your fingers and play a short story from a fairy tale or tell a nursery rhyme. For example:

Finger-boy, where have you been?

I went to the forest with this brother.

I cooked cabbage soup with this brother.

I ate porridge with this brother.

I sang songs with this brother.

(with each line, bend one finger into a fist)

Step 4

Touching is very important for the baby during this period. Tactile sensations are part of his language at this age. Mom can do light stroking movements. It is useful to do finger gymnastics - to knead and stroke the fingers of the arms and legs.

You can use jokes and nursery rhymes.

Wall, wall (mom strokes her cheeks)

Ceiling (stroking the head)

Two steps (sponges) and a bell (knocks on the spout)

Tink, tink, tink.

Moving the baby's legs (as if he were walking), the mother says:

"Big legs were walking along the path" and, accelerating: "Small legs were running along the path."

Opening her fists, mom says:

Fist - palm, A cat sat on the palm of her hand (stroking), I lay down, lay down

And ran away under the arm.

Step 5

The kid must learn to hold the head. To do this, lay it on your tummy. Stroking the baby on the back, stimulate him to raise his head. Encourage verbally his attempts.
