Most netbooks are equipped with a 250-350 GB hard drive, which is enough for storing documents and photos, but not enough if a child collects a collection of cartoons or is fond of video editing. On modern models, an SSD is used instead of a classic hard drive. Such devices work faster, but they are more expensive, more often than not justifying their potential.
The recommended time for working on a computer for primary school students is no more than 30-40 minutes a day.
Connectors
It is important to immediately verify that all the correct connectors are present. Be sure to need two USB ports (one for a mouse, the other for a flash drive or other equipment), a headphone and microphone jack, an output for a second monitor to show presentations on a large screen. Since the main advantage of a netbook is its mobility, you need to pay attention to the battery capacity - the battery life depends on it. The more a netbook can do without recharging, the better, the most budget models work from 4 to 6 hours, the more expensive ones - up to 11 hours or more. It should be borne in mind that the operating time strongly depends on the brightness of the monitor, processor load and sound volume.
