Down is a lightweight and warm material. The downside is that it is a very strong allergen, since harmful microorganisms easily multiply in it.

Take a closer look at synthetic fillers such as padding polyester, holofiber or thinsulate. Holofiber is one of the polyester options. It is lightweight, retains heat and shape, is non-toxic and does not cause allergies. Holofiber overalls are great for cold winters. It is better to wear things made of padding polyester in autumn or early spring, they are lightweight, inexpensive, but not suitable for cold weather. Thinsulate is a filler specially formulated for outerwear. The fibers of this material practically do not allow moisture to pass through, therefore, even strong wetting does not lead to a loss of thermal insulation. A jumpsuit with such a filling is light and warm.
Step 3
Think about whether you want a one-piece or two-piece jumpsuit for your baby. The one-piece one is suitable for very small crumbs, because even if you take the baby out of the stroller several times during the walk, there is no risk that the baby's back will be exposed. When the baby grows up a little and begins to move actively, buy him a set consisting of a jacket and semi-comfy pants that are fixed on the child's shoulders. In such an outfit, the wind will not blow through the baby, and the baby will be more comfortable moving.
Step 4
Examine the thing carefully from all sides. The seams of the overalls should be even and strong, and the fasteners, buttons and Velcro should be comfortable, of high quality and safe for the child.

As for the color scheme, proceed only from your preferences. It is not at all necessary to dress the boy in blue or blue clothes, and the girl exclusively in pink. Perhaps you will choose a neutral color for the jumpsuit, but it will have interesting prints or embroidery.
