Prunes are one of the very useful products that have excellent taste and have a healing effect on the child's body. Often, babies have problems with the gastrointestinal tract, the result of which is constipation. This problem can be dealt with by giving the child puree, compote, decoction or infusion of prunes.
Instructions
Step 1
To make mashed potatoes, wash dried fruits thoroughly, pour over with boiling water and soak overnight in warm water. In the morning, drain the water and boil the prunes in a little water until tender. Peel the prunes and mince them. Thus, you will receive a fresh natural puree, which will have a beneficial effect on the baby's digestion process. Choose the daily intake of prunes yourself for your child. Give 1 teaspoon first, see how the body reacts to this product. If the child has less than 1 stool a day, increase the amount of puree.
Step 2
To cook compote, take half a glass of dried apricots and prunes, pour hot water for 5 minutes. Then rinse the dried fruits thoroughly, transfer to a small saucepan, pour 1 liter of cold water and put on low heat. Cook for 20-25 minutes. Cool it down and give it to the baby.
Step 3
You can make a decoction of prunes as follows: 100 grams of dried fruits (about 20 pieces) without seeds, rinse well in warm water, put in a small saucepan and pour 400 milliliters of cold water, add sugar if desired and put on fire. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, cover and let the broth brew. As soon as it cools down, you can give it to your child 1 teaspoon in the morning.
Step 4
Recipe for making an infusion of prunes: Rinse 10-12 berries thoroughly with boiled water and pour 1 glass of boiling water. Cover and let sit for 10-12 hours. In the morning, strain the infusion, and give the baby 1 teaspoon in the morning.
