You can learn letters with a baby from an early age - 2-3 years. For this, there are modern developmental techniques, each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages. It is up to the parents to choose the best manuals or choose a basic program for teaching their child the alphabet.

Instructions

Step 1

Study letters with your child in a non-alphabetical order: go from simple and most frequently used letters to more rare and complex ones. As a rule, they start with the letter "A", but this can be done with the first letter of the baby's name. The first "father's" and "mother's" letters are well remembered by children, i.e. "P" and "M". You can take the optimal sequence for learning from any primer or alphabet.

Step 2

Take your time: it is enough if you study one letter at a time. Visual aids and improvised material will help to memorize and consolidate the result. Cut letters out of velvet and sandpaper, fabric of different textures (faux fur, flannel, etc.), sculpt from plasticine and salt dough. Make and hang cards around the apartment with the names of objects and interior details. Have the child find letters that are already familiar to him in words.

Step 3

Try to invent and tell the kid what each letter looks like: "G" - like a crane, "D" - like a house, "P" - like a horizontal bar, etc. Tell a poem or quatrain about each, sing a song. On a walk, draw letters on the asphalt with crayons, a stick in the sand, lay them out of pebbles, leaves, twigs. Do not worry if the child suddenly forgot some of the already learned ones, just start each lesson by repeating the material already passed, and then introduce the child to the new letter.
