Learning the English alphabet becomes a daunting task for many children at school. There are several techniques and tips that can make this important information easier to absorb.

Regardless of the chosen technique for learning the alphabet, you need to interest your child in learning English. This can be done in different ways, but you should not choose something material as an incentive. Otherwise, in the future, the child will simply begin to beg for gifts for good grades, and this can turn into a rather unpleasant type of trade.
Step 2
The easiest way to learn the English alphabet is in a game format, and you should be actively involved in it. Use whiteboards or letters (preferably in different colors), picture cards, and a marker board. For several days, together with your child, write down and pronounce the entire alphabet, you can write letters in different colors. Sculpt the magnetic letters on the refrigerator in the right order so that the sequence is always in front of your eyes. Over time, try rearranging individual letters, inviting your child to try to find mistakes. If possible, buy several sets of letters of different colors and sizes, it is much more convenient to work with them.
Step 3
You can use a deck of cards with the alphabet. Shuffle it and have your child arrange the letters in the correct order. To simplify the task at first, make maps on which not only individual letters will be indicated, but also those closest to them. For example, on a map with the letter "B" on the left, you can indicate a small "a", on the right - a small "c". This method will allow the child to remember the most difficult moments while laying out the cards in the right order. When the child does not have any difficulties with laying out such a "simplified" version, switch to ordinary cards without prompts. Be sure to ask him to pronounce the letters, this will help build connections between them and the corresponding sounds.
Step 4
Buy a large poster of the English alphabet with a familiar simple word for each letter. Hang this poster over your child's desk where they usually do their homework. This will not help him learn the alphabet faster, but will consolidate the existing knowledge.
Step 5
Periodically during your daily activities, ask your child which letter comes after which. Such exercises help to correctly decompose the alphabet in the head. Do not do this too often, do not get annoyed, if the child takes time to find the answer, try not to prompt.
