The birth of a child is not only a great joy for parents, but also a great responsibility and trouble. After all, even a healthy, normally developed baby is at first completely helpless and defenseless, he constantly needs to be looked after. In addition, in the first period of his life, the only way for him to communicate with adults is crying. And it is often difficult for parents to understand why the baby is crying: from hunger, because he is wet, he is cold or hot. Maybe he was scared of something.

Instructions

Step 1

Increased fearfulness in a baby can manifest itself in a variety of forms. For example, night fears, sometimes reaching nightmares. Their signs: the child suddenly wakes up with a loud cry, looks around in fright, it is not immediately possible to calm him down, even picking him up. Any attempt to put him back in the crib, especially to leave, leaving him alone in the room, the baby meets with new crying, screams. If parents do not take measures to stop night fears (like: “nothing, scream, cry - get used to it”), then the child may experience persistent sleep disturbance, deterioration of appetite, feeling of weakness, constant fatigue. In the most severe cases, it can lead to a nervous breakdown.

Step 2

Very often, the child's fear is expressed in the fear of loneliness. Many parents are familiar with this situation: the baby raises a desperate roar as soon as he is left alone, even during the day and for a short time. The matter comes to the very real hysteria. The reasons for such a fright are different: the features of the physiological and mental development of the baby, mistakes in upbringing (they were too accustomed to the hands), etc.

Step 3

The child is often frightened by loud noises. Simply because he is not yet able to connect cause and effect, and does not understand that the sound of a working vacuum cleaner or meat grinder does not conceal any threat, danger. The kid understands only one thing: something roared terribly. It must be some kind of horrible monster. It is very simple to define such a fear: the child, at every loud sound heard in the house or on the street, shudders sharply, begins to cry.

Step 4

Children are also often frightened by dogs. Alas, neither the owners of the smaller brothers, nor the parents often even try to put themselves in the baby's shoes. Moreover, sometimes the parents themselves bring the baby to the dog: "She is good, kind, she will not bite!" And how can a child know this, at the level of whose face a fanged mouth suddenly appeared? After all, even a decorative dog will seem huge to a small child. Such a fear is also easily determined: the baby shudders, cries when he hears a dog barking. And at the sight of a dog, he may even become hysterical.
