The most necessary things:
- Diapers, approximately one pack 22-27 pcs. It will take from 5 to 10 diapers per day, and the average time spent in the hospital is 3 days.
- Soap. It is better if it is liquid, because the usual dries the baby's skin.
- Baby cream. Buy without any fragrances (chamomile, string). Pediatricians advise "Fox".
- Cap. On the first day of life, the child is very cold, therefore, rather than wrapping his head in a diaper, it is better to put on a cap.
- Diapers. In every maternity hospital it is different, somewhere they give sterile ones, and somewhere they have to bring their own. Find out in your maternity hospital if you need diapers, if not, take one with you for discharge.
- Dummy. Many pediatricians do not allow the use of a pacifier until three days of life, but sometimes mothers cannot do without it.
- Cream for cracked nipples. If you are planning on breastfeeding, then you cannot do without it.
- Bathrobe.
- Disposable underpants, but also go for regular ones.
- Gaskets, multiple packages.
- Mug and spoon.
- Hairbrush.
- Phone charger.
- Hygiene products for mom.
- Suit and envelope for statement.
Additional:
- Undershirts (3-4 pieces).
- Sliders (3-4 pcs).
- Bottle.
Each maternity hospital has its own list of necessary things. Many do not allow babies to wear undershirts and rompers, so before putting together a bag for the hospital, find out what you can and cannot do.
