It often happens that before making an important decision, we get lost - and as a result we cannot choose which way to move on. The reasons for this confusion can be different - from excitement to a lack of information. So how do you deal with this situation?

Instructions

Step 1

For starters, try to calm down. Sit comfortably, relax, and take a few slow and deep breaths - and slow exhales, with a pause in between. You can breathe “into the account” - slowly count in your mind to four. In four counts - inhale, in four counts - holding the breath, then (again for four) - exhale and pause again. Just a couple of minutes - and you will calm down, and your head will clear up.

Step 2

Now remember some moment in your own life when you were a winner, a triumphant, ready to turn the world upside down. It doesn't matter what it was - passing the most difficult exam for "excellent", winning a competition, or the praise of a kindergarten teacher. Remember your feelings at that moment, relive them again.

Step 3

Take a piece of paper, divide it in two, and briefly describe the choices you need to make - one on the left, one on the right. This will help you step back from the situation and look at it from the outside. Have you written? Now take a look at the leaf. Suddenly now you will understand which option you like more?

Step 4

If clarity has not yet come, write in each column all the pros and cons of the options you are considering (in a column, under the numbers). You can also describe what you end up with in the best case scenario, and what if things don't go well. Check the resulting lists, balance the risks and benefits - and make an informed choice.

Step 5

Well, if you still can't choose, throw in a coin. Keep in mind, this is not a way to make a choice, but a way to understand what you really want. And, if the coin falls out "the wrong side" and you get upset - do as your heart tells you. It has already made a decision.
