God is not an abstract concept, and therefore every appeal to Him should have the character of a personal request. You can learn all existing prayers and solidify all the psalms, but if your heart is silent at the same time, then spiritual union with God will not arise and He will not answer you.
Instructions
Step 1
Before turning to God with a request for love, think if your concept of this feeling does not contradict the Christian doctrine. So many, not finding love in their hearts, try to replace it with ersatz, taking a fleeting passion, blind passion or lust for this sacred feeling.
Step 2
If you love someone, but without reciprocity, do not ask God to win someone over to your side, since violence is contrary to the very nature of Christianity. Only God knows when a person will appear on your path with whom you can really walk your whole life hand in hand.
Step 3
If you do not yet have a worthy object for love, or you cannot understand in any way whether you are capable of this feeling or not, ask God to send you those who need comfort to help them cope with the sorrows that have befallen them. While doing good deeds, constantly turn to God with a request to strengthen your spirit, and looking at those who are much worse off than you, do not succumb to pride, do not pity them, but learn to sympathize with them. And there is only one step from compassion to love.
Step 4
If someone confessed his love to you, but you do not think that you are ready to connect your life with this person, do not ask God to help you see whether this feeling is true or false, since such a request can be fulfilled literally, and you are instantly you will lose everything. The most difficult test that befell you will not be able to turn away from you the person who really loves, but if you yourself are not spiritually ready for it, it will destroy you and turn you away from God, who is thus trying to rid you of doubts.
Step 5
Get rid of bad thoughts and do not make hasty vows to God that you obviously cannot fulfill, and even more so, do not offer him material benefits, even if material benefits in your conversion mean helping a church or an orphanage.
