For drawing, you can take landscape or thick sheets of A 4 format. The sheets for drawing must be large, so the child will have more opportunity and space to show imagination.

We create motivation, i.e. interest the child by coming up with an interesting, magical story about a pencil or pencils.

Next, we show the kid how to properly hold a pencil in his hand and invite the child to take it. If your toddler is unable to pick up a pencil on his own, help him and make sure he holds the pencil correctly.

At the first stage of drawing, we teach the child to draw straight, wavy, curved lines. And in the future, we want the kid to draw clear lines that are closed in various forms. At the same time, creating expressive images.

Next, we teach the baby to draw simple geometric shapes: a circle, a square. Step by step we bring the kid to drawing objects consisting of combinations of various shapes and lines (matryoshka, ball, etc.).

We learn to place images over the entire area of the sheet, i.e. to begin with, we repeat the images of one object (nesting dolls are walking, many snowmen have been blinded), and then depict various objects (the ball jumps along the path, etc.).

In this way, we gradually teach the baby to draw with pencils, while creating simple plot compositions.
