Accept the faith of your future husband. Before getting married, very often a woman has to change her religion to Islam. Respect each other's principles. A girl should listen to the guy's opinion and look after him in everyday life. An Azerbaijani, in turn, must take care of and financially provide for his beloved.

Don't be jealous of a guy for his wives. It often happens that a guy has a wife at home. In this case, he is obliged to adequately support both the first and second wife and children. Newlyweds can live both in Russia with a change of citizenship from their husband, and in Azerbaijan with their relatives.

Learn his native language. This is a prerequisite for marriage, since the girl will have to communicate a lot with the many relatives of the guy.

Get used to Azerbaijani food. Since it is very sharp and oily, it is better to start getting used to it before the wedding, because these people have hospitality in their blood and they always arrange huge feasts.

Avoid tobacco and alcoholic beverages. If a girl sometimes allowed herself to smoke another cigarette and drink a glass of wine, or even a glass of vodka, when meeting and subsequent family life, she will have to forget about her addictions. Children of Azerbaijanis are in the first place, therefore, expectant mothers must be completely healthy to bear excellent offspring.

Marry according to Muslim traditions. The wedding should take place in the presence of two witnesses - Muslims in the absence of parents on one and the other side. The bride must wear a scarf over her head during the ceremony.
