Step 1
It is better to send invitations to all guests for christening in advance. Be sure to specify where they need to go: to the church or directly to the place of celebration. If you consider sending out personal invitations an overkill, then you can notify the guests about the upcoming celebration by phone or in person, but it is still better to do this in advance so that the invitees have time to prepare.
Step 2
Prepare for the festive table, among other things, pies and baptismal porridge, which have long been given a special role in homelands and christenings. Unlike ordinary porridge, baptismal porridge is prepared in milk, adding a lot of butter and sugar to it. Pies can be made with a wide variety of fillings. Also, there must be a lot of sweets on the baptismal table.
Step 3
Make a congratulatory poster from a piece of Whatman paper. In the center of the poster, draw a sun or chamomile and paste a photo of the hero of the occasion there. Decorate the poster with images of angels, church domes and doves, just leave room for congratulations. Have all the guests circle their palm and write a wish to the godson. Save this poster along with the baptismal gown and icon as a keepsake.
Step 4
Prepare commemorative diplomas for godparents, which will list their rights and obligations, and for better safety, diplomas should be laminated. During the feast, solemnly present these "securities", accompanying the presentation with words of gratitude, because the godparents are now responsible before God for the spiritual upbringing of your baby.

Arrange a festive photo shoot or record the celebration on video. In memory of the holiday, you can prepare a separate handmade photo album and attach there, along with the photographs, a certificate of the baptism of the child.
