It is necessary

  • - plentiful drink;
  • - honey;
  • - essential oils;
  • - herbs;
  • - alcohol;

Instructions

Step 1

Give your child more liquid to drink: tea with lemon, rosehip broth. To increase the therapeutic effect, add honey to your drink instead of sugar. A jelly made from non-acidic berries and fruits has a good lightening effect. Due to its viscosity, it coats the sore throat, relieving pain.

Step 2

Gargle your child's throat every 30 minutes with a warm infusion of St. John's wort, chamomile, sage, calendula. To do this, put 2 tablespoons of raw materials in a thermos and pour a glass of boiling water. Let it brew for 45 minutes, then strain. For inhalation, use 10 ml of broth.

Step 3

Irrigate the throat with an inhaler or spray bottle. This procedure is more often performed with young children who do not yet know how to gargle. The child should open his mouth wide, stick out his tongue and breathe evenly. Position the spray bottle so that the end of the tube is as deep as possible in the mouth. This will allow the decoction (medicinal solution) to travel to the back of the throat.

Step 4

Do an aroma inhalation using eucalyptus and fir essential oil (for children over a year old). They have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and immunostimulating effects. Pour 1-1.5 liters of hot water into the dishes, cover the child with a towel. Add 1-2 drops of essential oil to boiling water. It is necessary to inhale through the nose and mouth for 5-10 minutes with closed eyes.

Step 5

After the procedure, rub the child's feet with undiluted essential oil and put to bed.

Step 6

Make a compress. Prepare a solution by diluting the alcohol and water in half. Soak a piece of gauze in it and place it around your neck. Put a plastic bag, woolen cloth on top and tie with a scarf. Leave the compress for 2-3 hours, repeat the procedure 2 times a day. For children under 3 years of age, alcohol should be diluted with water in a 1: 4 ratio.

Step 7

Have your child chew propolis after meals throughout the day. It has a detrimental effect on pathogenic bacteria. At an early stage of the disease, propolis promotes complete recovery.
