Babies' ears need constant care. But every young mother finds this lesson the most difficult if she does not know how to clean her baby's ears correctly.
It is best to practice hygiene of your ears while bathing. Bathing the baby should take place in warm water, but in no case hot, use only a soft washcloth. Raise your baby's head and hold it firmly in your hands.
A towel or cotton pad soaked in warm water is well suited for washing the ears, as long as you do not use soap. Lightly rub your baby's ears with your hand.
Be sure to wipe the area behind your ears, as dirt often accumulates there. Wipe the outside of your baby's ear with a dampened towel or cotton wool. Then wipe the ear with a dry towel.
Next, we need cotton swabs, always with a limiter. Take your time, insert the stick into the baby's ear, but not very deeply, and gently begin to rotate it in a circle. With the help of a stick, you will be able to clean the child's ear canals well.
When cleaning your ears, do not forget about the child. Make sure your baby is cozy and warm. If necessary, wrap it in a warm, clean towel to keep the baby warm.
