Step 1
Before swaddling a baby, it is very important to properly lay out clothes and underwear. It is necessary to wrap a newborn rather quickly so that he does not have time to sweat. Lay the tape horizontally on the changing table and straighten it out.
Step 2
A warm blanket must be included in the duvet cover. This is not only hygienic, but also keeps you warm. A duvet cover for a baby needs cotton or linen, and a blanket can be wadded, down or with synthetic filler. Lay the blanket over the tape so that it connects 2 opposite corners. There will be corners at the top and bottom too.
Step 3
Put a corner on the upper corner, on it - a woolen hat and a cap. Spread the thinner one on a thick blanket so that the long sides are horizontal. If you have two types of diapers, place a flannel on a blanket. The long sides should be parallel. Lay a thin diaper on a thick diaper, and a diaper on it.
Step 4
Put on the baby a thin undershirt, shirt, blouse, cap and diaper. Wrap the baby in a thin diaper, then a thick one. Put on your hat.
Step 5
Wrap your baby in a thin blanket. Covering your right shoulder with the top corner, slide the top right corner of the blanket under your left arm. Place the upper left corner behind the baby's right hand. Fold the bottom horizontal edge so that it wraps around the front of the baby's legs. You will end up with something like a lapel, which also serves to secure the bottom corner. Just insert it into this lapel.
Step 6
Fold the bottom corner of the warm blanket over your baby's legs. Fold over the right and left corners. You need to wrap it up not too tightly, but so that an overly energetic baby cannot turn around.
Step 7
Bring the ends of the tape towards each other and tie a single knot on the baby's tummy. Further actions depend on the length of the tape. The most common option is to make 3 turns, that is, at the level of the belt, knees and neck of the baby. If the blanket is not too heavy and fits well, you can limit yourself to two turns. Tie the edges of the ribbon with a bow.
Step 8
Modern baby underwear, in principle, allows you to do without diapers. You can wear thin and warm rompers, woolen pants, warm socks. But in cold weather, it is better to wrap the child first in a thin blanket, and then in a warm one. In this case, the baby will definitely not be able to turn around on its own.
