Step 1
Choose the object of your intrigue. Of course, you are pursuing a specific goal that you want to achieve, but one goal is not enough for success. The intrigue will be effective only if it turns out to be directed at someone. Sometimes this is an obvious object - so, if you want to achieve a salary increase, try to rally the team against the boss. Sometimes you can choose a more difficult path.
Step 2
Notice the word rallying. The right intrigue will require you to be able to establish communication. Essentially, this way of reaching your goal involves engaging other people to help you along the way. They become a means for you, but a means that must first be prepared.
Step 3
Evaluate the group of people among whom you will weave intrigue. You need to find out if there is a person in it who can easily transfer your gossip to others, or you will have to involve several participants at once. You should not use both methods, choose one: either tell the found person a negative rumor about who the intrigue is directed against, or talk to several people, but use different gossip. Please note that this information should not be accusatory in nature. It can be veiled condemnation or even ostentatious sympathy. The participants in your intrigue should not feel that you are trying to use them, in their eyes you need to remain in the most advantageous position of an innocent person.
Step 4
Watch the unfolding of the action. Avoid unnecessarily interfering with the process after the first step. Only if you see that the excitement is gradually dying down, and the goal has not been achieved, support the fire with a new fact that tarnishes your object.
Step 5
Study the weaknesses of people to skillfully weave intrigue. This will allow you to understand what will anger this person the most, what will set him up against the object of your actions, what will really hurt his emotional state.
