Fish dishes are a healthy and easily digestible food product. Fish contains a large amount of protein with an organically balanced composition of amino acids, vitamins and minerals. This product is distinguished by its delicate structure, the absence of coarse fibers, films and connective tissue, which provides it with very good digestibility.

Necessary

  • - white sea fish;
  • - breast milk or formula;
  • - White bread;
  • - cow's milk;
  • - butter;
  • - salt;
  • - meat grinder;
  • - blender;
  • - double boiler.

Instructions

Step 1

Fish puree should be included in the baby's diet from 10-11 months. It is advisable to do this no earlier than a month after the introduction of meat complementary foods. The first dose is 5-10 g of fish, which corresponds to half a teaspoon. Increase the portion gradually, bringing it to 40-50 g by 12 months (no more than 1-2 times a week). A two-year-old baby should receive 100 g of fish a day, 2 times a week.

Step 2

Start exploring a new dish in the morning. Observe the child's reaction to the injected product carefully. If, after the fish feeding, the crumbs have a rash on the skin, vomiting, diarrhea, and their general health has deteriorated sharply, cancel the new dish and be sure to consult a pediatrician. It may be necessary to postpone the inclusion of fish in the baby's diet.

Step 3

Prepare your first non-fatty white marine fish (cod, hake, pollock). Thaw the frozen carcass on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Do not defrost it to the end. When the fish is free of the ice crust, remove it and rinse it under running cold water. Thoroughly remove bones and skin from the fish. Place it in a double boiler and keep there until tender. Then whisk in a blender until smooth and add some expressed breast milk or adapted formula. Serve separately or mixed with vegetable puree or porridge.

Step 4

For a one-year-old baby who has already acquired a sufficient number of milk teeth, offer an appetizing fishcake. Pass the fillet of white sea fish through a meat grinder. Add white bread or a loaf soaked in milk to the resulting mass. Scroll the minced meat through the meat grinder again. Salt it and stir until smooth and fluffy. Form small patties and steam for 20-25 minutes. Serve with a little butter.
