Christmas and Easter are holidays, preparation for which takes place in a special way. Easter crafts are filled with the colors of spring, freshness, extraordinary novelty and feelings of fullness of life. Preparing postcards and souvenirs together with the baby will not only help develop creativity, but will also introduce you to the bright holiday of the Lord's Resurrection.
Chicken from pom poms
To make a funny chicken you will need:
- yellow threads (choice of wool, cotton or acrylic)
- large beads or plastic eyes
- glue "Moment"
- red cardboard
- needle
- scissors
Cut two 8cm circles out of plain cardboard, this will be the size of the chicken. Cut out the middle inside each circle, the larger the inner diameter, the "fluffier" the craft will be.
Fold the two circles together and wrap with threads. To speed up the process, wrap the cut and folded thread instead of a ball. For the body of the chicken, you need 15 meters of thread, for convenience, fold it in eight.
After filling the cartons completely, cut the pompom along the outer edge. It is more convenient to work with scissors with a sharp tip, a stationery knife or blade. Pass the cutting tool between the two cardboard circles.
Having cut the outer side, cut off a 20-25 cm long thread from the main skein and tie the middle of the pompom, passing the thread between the cardboard blanks. After making sure that the knot is solid, remove the cardboard. Use scissors to trim the pompom by cutting off any protruding strings.
Draw legs and a comb on a piece of red cardboard. Remember they must be double. Glue the prepared parts to the pompom.
An older chicken can be made in the same way. This will require additional wire and pliers. Prepare two pom-poms with a diameter of 4, 5 and 3, 5 cm using the method described above. Before removing the cardboard circles from the larger part, pass the floristic wire between them and fix with a twist. To connect the chicken, tie the torso and head.
When forming the wire feet, bend the wire so that three fingers are formed. Apply a small amount of glue and wrap with red thread, starting at the top of the foot near the pompom. "Revive" the chicken by gluing the eyes and beak.
Easter card picture
To make an Easter painting you will need:
- yellow velvet paper
- watercolor paper
- multi-colored self-adhesive paper
- glue stick
- flower-shaped hole punch
- carnations on legs
- raffia
Place a child's palm on a sheet of watercolor paper and circle it without a thumb. Cut along the contour and bend the "fingers" with scissors. Stick two palms on top of each other, moving the top a little. Cut a circle out of the same paper and stick it over your palms. Draw the head of the chicken on the circle. After decorating the chicken, fix the bead eye.
Draw and cut out two ovals on watercolor paper. In the center of each oval, draw a zigzag and cut the halves. Use yellow velvet paper to make the chicken head. Having prepared the part, glue it on the back of the egg. Secure the top of the egg with the button on the leg.
At the bottom of the painting, attach palm fiber (raffia) and decorate it with self-adhesive paper flowers.
