People have always tried to twist nature around their fingers, so they have long begun to come up with remedies for the unwanted consequences of sexual intercourse. Few people know that the first condom was invented in Italy back in the 16th century! This industry has certainly evolved over five centuries. Now there are many different ways to protect yourself from unwanted pregnancies.
Condoms
Doctors call condoms "youth" means, because it is enough to buy a pack of condoms and that's it - to enjoy love at your own pleasure. Only now doctors assure that this product is too overestimated, because 15% of accidental pregnancies occur in those who used a condom. It is worth noting that many still do not know how to use a condom correctly. Here are the basic rules for using a rubber product:
- a condom should be worn before intercourse, and not before ejaculation;
- the shelf life of a condom is no more than five years;
- each sexual intercourse must be combined with the replacement of a condom, no matter what kind of sex you have chosen - anal or vaginal;
- condoms should be bought of suitable size.
Oral contraceptives
Hormonal contraception is the second option for proper contraception. Hormonal pills must be taken every day at a certain time, the gynecologist prescribes them. Only this method is not suitable for a little disciplined girls, because it is worth skipping one pill and the whole regimen will fail.
Double method
The Dutch are practical people, and they came up with a double method. Everything is simple here - a girl should take hormonal contraceptives, and a guy should use a condom. This method protects both from unwanted pregnancy and from all kinds of sexually transmitted diseases.
Intrauterine device
This method is usually recommended for women who have already given birth and who have a regular partner. A spiral is installed in a couple of minutes, after which you must regularly visit a gynecologist. Such a spiral is enough for up to ten years, then it must be removed and a new one installed.
