Step 1
The reason for the matinee can be either a generally accepted holiday (New Year, February 23 or March 8), or a unique event - the arrival of spring, the end of the school year or kindergarten, as well as showing children's achievements for a certain period. In addition to having a pleasant pastime, this is an important educational process - after all, children not only learn to perform. They also gain valuable experience in preparation and rehearsal, i.e. learn to work and think about the result of their efforts.
Step 2
Work on the matinee begins with a detailed plan. It is necessary to determine the exact number of participants, the total duration and budget of the event (tape recorder, floor space, musical instruments, props, costumes, etc.). Based on this, print the plot, the number and duration of solo and group numbers.
Depending on their age, children may change their performance or even their desire to perform. For example, the girl Olya learns poetry from the script, but it turns out that she has a great voice, and the song performed by her can become a real highlight of the matinee. Always leave room for force majeure in the script. All plot intricacies should be easily played around so that one sick child does not disrupt the course of the holiday.
Step 3
It is important that the children understand the course of events, and not just stretch out at a certain moment to speak. Of course, it depends on the age. Three-year-olds can already explain their role quite easily. Unless, of course, this is the role of Hamlet. Do not forget that this is primarily a children's holiday, and the children should not only show their skills and work of educators, but also enjoy the process.
You can use fairy tales already known to children. Based on Kolobok, Teremka, etc. you can write a script, supplementing it with new plot twists. For example, Gingerbread Man was able to get away from the fox, and rolled to the matinee. Or maybe the animals, after the bear destroyed their Teremok, came to the children for advice and help. Or, on the contrary, the animals have already built a new house and are now talking and singing about it.
Step 4
Scenarios for kids 1-2 years old should be focused on group dances, round dances, answers in chorus to the leader. The performance of the puppet theater will perfectly fit into the matinee program (adults show and tell). Children will sit on high chairs, this will help them to relax and focus before the next number. But Santa Claus or a huge bear can scare them. It is better if the leaders are already familiar educators or neutral heroes who do not cause strong emotions (Fairy Godmother, Snow Maiden, Cinderella, Little Prince, etc.)
Step 5
The older the children, the more difficult the program can be and the more numbers with their participation. It is very important to pay attention to the personal qualities of the children in the process - to show what they do best. If the children are embarrassed, you can offer them a role without words, but important in the context of the overall scenario. For example, a snowman found a bag lost by Santa Claus in the forest and went to kindergarten for three days so that the children would not be left without gifts. And the boy Vasya, who refuses to sing and dance, can also feel like an artist. And if in the process of rehearsals the child becomes more relaxed and interested, this role can be easily complicated by adding a couple of phrases.
