Team building activities are an important part of working with children. This is not only fun, but also useful, because the cohesion of the group demonstrates the unity of interpersonal relationships and contributes to their development in principle. Games are the most effective form when working with children. In developing the necessary level of cohesion, it is important that the games evoke the interest and mutual emotional appeal of each member of the group.

Step 1

To achieve the most effective result, it is necessary to work with groups of children up to 15 people. From you - a good mood and the ability to interest the child, from the group - the willingness to communicate and perform the proposed tasks. In order to correctly select the game format trainings that are effective for your group, try to determine the psychological profile of the team. Moreover, an important factor is the age of the children with whom the work will take place: not always what caused a storm of emotions in a 6-year-old team will be to the taste of a 10-year-old audience.

Step 2

Please note that in order to establish communication between each member of the group, it is necessary to conduct games in a circle. In this position, children can make eye and emotional contact with each other.

Step 3

In order for the guys to get to know each other, the game "Snowball" should be held. The presenter arranges the children in a circle and designates the one who will begin the acquaintance. Each child in turn has to say his name and make some movement. For example: "My name is Masha, I do it like this (claps her hands)." The next participant in the game must repeat the name and gesture of the previous speaker, then his name and gesture: "Her name is Masha, she does this (claps her hands), my name is Igor, I do this (shows her tongue)." The hardest part will have to the one with whom the game began: the child will need to repeat the name and gesture of each participant in the training for acquaintance.

Step 4

Invite the children to pair up. It is worth noting that this will determine the level of interaction between children and the willingness to work with each other. The guys need to hug, and in such a way that everyone has only one hand free. In this position, they need, for example, to fasten a button or a zipper, tie their shoelaces, and so on. You can also invite the guys to take up certain parts of the body (they are called by the leader). For example, while holding each other's knees, children should walk a little.

Step 5

Place the children in a circle and ask them to hold hands. The leader is also in a circle with the group. Its task is to "start the impulse". In other words, you need to squeeze your neighbor's hand, and you need to transmit the "impulse" as quickly as possible. Please note that the game should be played with both eyes open and closed. Therefore, you can conduct training for a while, in order to compare the results at the end. By the way, you can send a "pulse" simultaneously in two directions. Ask the children to see if the "impulses" can intersect in the process of completing the task and continue their move further.
