The classic baby massage includes the following basic elements: stroking, kneading, rubbing, light beating and vibration. The procedure is carried out daily and lasts no more than 7-10 minutes 40-50 minutes after a meal or half an hour before feeding. If the room is warm, you can massage the baby naked, if it is cool, cover it with a diaper, leaving only the massaged area open.
Instructions
Step 1
The starting position of the child is lying on his back. Start the massage with light circular movements in a clockwise direction, moving from the shoulders to the belly of the crumbs. These strokes relax the muscles and help calm the baby. During the procedure, keep your hands warm.
Step 2
Take the child's left leg and place it on the palm of your left hand, and with your right hand, lightly stroke the outer and back surface of the lower leg and thigh upward, moving from the foot to the thigh. Please note that the right leg of the crumbs is supported by your right hand, and massaged with the left (the left is on the contrary).
Step 3
After that, try to reach the baby's nose with your feet. Follow the procedure carefully and slowly. This exercise has a beneficial effect on the child's body, strengthening his musculoskeletal system.
Step 4
Now you can go to rubbing. Starting position - the baby lies on his back. Begin to gently rub the rectus abdominis muscles with the pads of your thumbs in light circular motions. Massage your belly at the navel in a clockwise circular motion. Don't worry if your skin turns a little red during this process.
Step 5
After the belly, go to the baby's arms. Take the crumbs brush with your thumb and forefinger. Rub it with active circular motions at least 5-6 times. Place your thumbs in your baby's palms and squeeze your hands lightly. Cross your little ones' arms on your chest. Shake the brushes several times.
Step 6
Then massage your buttocks and back. Turn the baby over onto its stomach. Stroke your buttocks, moving the outside of your hand up and the inside of your hand down. Your touch should be gentle. Take your baby's legs with both hands and lift them slightly. In this case, the child's body should lie on the surface, resting on his arms, chest and head. This exercise should be done gently and without effort.
