Information for children related to certain knowledge must be selected taking into account its simplicity and ease of assimilation: children must perfectly understand what is at stake. Otherwise, it will not benefit either the child or his parents.
Knowledge is a valuable gift of life
A child is a blank sheet that absorbs knowledge like a sponge. In addition to valuable scientific information, children should also know about everything that surrounds them: for example, a baby should understand without any problems which leaf belongs to which tree or plant, which birds fly to the south, and which ones remain to winter in their lands, etc. It will not be superfluous to teach the child to navigate in certain autumn signs, which will allow him to independently make forecasts about future weather in the future.
Autumn signs of falling trees
Leaves falling from trees in autumn can tell a lot about the coming weather. For example, if autumn leaves of an aspen fall to the ground upside down, then a cold and prolonged winter should be expected. If these leaves lie "face down" - the winter will be warm. To see aspen leaves, scattered on the ground with "shirts" up and down, - to a variable winter (it will be warm and cold). By the way, a frosty winter should be expected if the leaves on many trees remain on the branches.
Birch autumn leaves tell people about the coming spring weather. For example, a birch that turns yellow from the top indicates early spring, but if the birch turns yellow from the lower branches, it will be late in the spring. Cherry leaves, according to folk signs, regulate the duration of the autumn period: until the cherry completely falls off, autumn will not transfer its rights to winter. Snow will fall, but melt.
Autumn signs of animals
Predictors of certain autumn signs can be not only leaves falling from trees, but also all kinds of animals: birds, insects, mammals. For example, birds that fly to warm regions low to the ground portend a small amount of snow next winter, but if they fly high, it will be snowy winter.
The cranes, slowly flying in late summer - early autumn like a wedge across the sky, testify to the warm autumn weather, which will remain throughout the season. You can also watch poultry: chickens, hiding their heads under their wings, sense the approach of imminent cold weather. Mosquitoes seen in late autumn indicate a mild winter.
Autumn signs of the harvest
Certain predictions can be made by looking at the yield of some plants. One of the most famous autumn signs, well understood by children, is a rich harvest of red rowan: winter in this case will be cold. In addition, mountain ash can tell about autumn itself: if there is a dime a dozen in the forest of this berry, then autumn is expected to be rainy and cold, and if there are few mountain ash, it is dry and warm.
The harvest of nuts and mushrooms also predicts the weather for the near future. If there are a lot of nuts and few mushrooms, a harsh and fierce winter is coming. If in September a huge number of acorns is observed on oaks, winter promises to be cold and snowy. If the dogwood harvest is especially rich in autumn, a "wicked" winter is coming.
