It is known that children and adults perceive holidays differently. And if for parents a feast is one of the main elements of the celebration, then for children it is much more important to have fun games and contests, communication with friends and other more interesting things. But even without a treat, you cannot leave the children: after all, after games and running around, the appetite flares up so much.

Content

When composing a menu for a children's birthday, it is a good idea to try to take into account the tastes and preferences of all young guests. Of course, this cannot be fully done, but it is imperative to ask the parents of the invitees if their children have food allergies to certain types of foods. Of course, dishes with their use are excluded from the holiday menu.

Despite the special atmosphere, do not forget that the menu of any child on any day should be not only tasty, but also healthy. There should be no spicy, smoked, salty or too fatty foods on the children's table. Garlic and hot peppers are also not suitable as seasonings, and it is highly undesirable to use mayonnaise.

And, of course, you shouldn't offer your children chips, industrial crackers and other unhealthy snacks. And fizzy drinks, ideally, are best replaced with juices, fruit drinks or homemade compote or non-alcoholic cocktails.

You should not strive to impress guests with a variety of treats - children will not be able to fully appreciate this. Better to offer them 3-4 dishes, but make each one completely unforgettable.

Children are unlikely to pay tribute to hot dishes - they usually attract little eaters little, so you should limit yourself to one hot snack: chicken kebabs, steam cutlets or other healthy food. The variety of salads is also unlikely to amaze children, especially if they are made from many complex ingredients.

The basis of the table will be sandwiches, fruits and vegetables and, of course, sweet treats - always loved and eagerly awaited by the guys. You can, of course, please them with a custom-made cake, or you can limit yourself to homemade cakes. By the way, the second will be more useful.

Form

Experienced mothers know that even the most familiar dish can be a real surprise for a child if it is decorated with imagination. This makes a huge difference for babies! Sandwiches made in the form of animals or funny faces, boats, cars, etc. will delight the children and be eaten with a bang. Canapes will also pique the interest of younger guests.

The salad will become especially tasty if it is served, for example, in tartlets or in unusual "vases" of melted cheese, laid out in layers in glasses.

Vegetables and fruits, carved in the form of unusual figures, will seem much tastier to them, and simple homemade biscuits, decorated with fancy glaze, will cause no less delight than a huge, but traditional cream cake.

By “beating” every dish served on the table in this way, you can add another joyful and pleasant touch to the festive atmosphere. And then no one will go hungry.
