Crafting something together with children is not only fun, but also useful for their development. Any creativity activates imagination, improves fine motor skills. Plus, it's just nice to give someone a hand-made postcard.
What you need for a greeting card
It will take quite a bit, namely:
- colored cardboard;
- scissors (even better if they have curly edges);
- napkins or thin paper of different colors (4 pieces);
- colored cardboard;
- glue stick or PVA;
- a simple pencil and ruler.
How to make a postcard
To begin with, together with the child, you need to determine the composition of the future postcard. Then cut out the base for it from colored cardboard. If you do this with curly scissors, you will get a pattern along the edges. Its sizes may vary. For example, 150x200 mm. Such a card will fit perfectly into an envelope. Glue another rectangle on top of this base. The color combination of these parts can be anything you like. This will make the postcard more voluminous and bright.
Divide thin paper or napkin into four sections. In the future, flower petals should be obtained from it. Therefore, it is better not to cut, but to tear the paper. This will make the edges uneven and more voluminous. Now in stores there is a huge assortment of decorative materials, and it will not be difficult to choose something to your liking.
The result should be 16 pieces of colored paper. They can be different in color. And they can be sustained in a single scale. It all depends on the taste of the child and the parents. Now you need to make the petals. To do this, the paper must be folded to form a bag. In shape, it will resemble a flower cup. This will be the petal. A child can do just that.
Glue is squeezed onto a sheet of cardboard to mark the center of the composition. Here you will need to consistently glue all the resulting petals. The closer to each other they are glued, the more magnificent the flower will turn out. Now you need to cut the stem and leaves out of paper.
There may be several such colors. It all depends on the imagination and the chosen size of the postcard. Here you can also write congratulations and decorate the flower with various decorative details: ribbons, rhinestones, beads. It all depends on the taste and the chosen style. And, of course, from the addressee. You can place flowers in a vase or basket, also cut from multi-colored sheets of paper.
A sheet of white or thin tissue paper is glued to the back of the postcard. It is used to write congratulations. The text can also be cut from letters. This will require a stack of unnecessary magazines or newspapers. Just first you need to come up with the wish itself. Such a postcard will surely please the person for whom it was created.
