Scandals, unfortunately, are an integral part of any person's life. There may not be any reasons for this at all, but there will always be reasons. There are certain approaches that allow to stop the scandal in time and do not allow it to develop into something more.

Step 1
To get rid of a scandal, understand the need to avoid any kind of conflict. Understand for yourself that during a quarrel, no one can ever prove anything to anyone. The point is that the presence of negative emotions excludes the ability to perceive, understand and agree.

Don't try to get your point across if your opponent is in a state of negative arousal.
Step 3
Be quiet first, you. If you still did not manage to avoid a quarrel, and at some point you realized that you were drawn into it, remember that someone should be the first to shut up. Of course, you should not try to achieve this from your opponent, it is much easier to control yourself. Silence will provide you with the opportunity to leave the conflict zone and thereby stop it, because a quarrel requires at least two parties.
Step 4
Be silent, but without mute negative expressions about your partner. This means that your silence should not breed even more aggression in him, expressing mockery or schadenfreude. On the contrary, it should cool his ardor. Silently ignore the very fact of the conflict and the negative arousal itself.
Step 5
Avoid verbally stating the opponent's negative emotions. Do not say out loud phrases like: "Why are you nervous, why are you angry?", "And why are you mad?" With such words, you will only once again confirm his emotional state and the right to manifest this state.
Step 6
Calmly leave the room in which the scandal broke out. But do not try to slam the door or shout something offensive before leaving. This, most likely, will only cause another outburst of uncontrollable rage, and it is not known exactly what course of events will follow.
Step 7
Refute nothing, even if your partner regards your silence as surrender. Take the necessary pause, let it revel in your imaginary victory. Remember - nothing in you should reinforce his negative attitude.
