Currently, there is no shortage of preschool childcare facilities in large cities. As an alternative to public gardens, private development centers have appeared, in which modern methods are used to educate children.
Kindergarten and development center: what is the difference
A development center and a private kindergarten are different concepts. In the first case, compulsory licensing of the organization is not required, it is not registered with supervisory authorities. Teachers and educators in "development" should not have special education. In a private kindergarten, everything must comply with the norms. Food, living conditions of children, the composition of educators - everything is spelled out in the sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the device, content and organization of the mode of operation in preschool organizations. Children can stay in development centers for no longer than three hours. A twelve-hour stay is allowed in the garden.
For several years now, Moscow has been refurbishing old state-run kindergartens. The premises allocated for groups are enlarged, swimming pools and gyms are added. Parents take their children there with pleasure.
In addition to these differences, when choosing a private kindergarten or developmental activities, the age of the child should be taken into account. It is difficult for babies up to two or three years old to be without parents for a long time, they cannot undress themselves, go to the toilet. Therefore, for their development, it is better to select groups of short-term stay. So that the baby spends two to three hours a day in the classroom, and the rest of the time is at home.
If it is not possible to stay at home with a child, then you can choose a private kindergarten for him. There are not too many of them in Moscow, because there are enough well-equipped state institutions. But in the Moscow region and large Russian cities, this service is very popular. There are not enough places in public gardens, and parents are forced to pay for the preschool education of their children.
How to choose a private kindergarten
Choosing a paid kindergarten, do not rush. Its cost is not as important as the composition of the educators and the conditions of the children. Home kindergartens have two advantages: the price and the small number of children in the group. But very often the teacher combines the positions of a cleaner, cook and nanny, which can negatively affect the health of the kids. Therefore, it is better to choose a garden, focusing on the reviews of those whose children are already visiting it. The main thing to ask is how often children get sick, what kind of diseases they are, how the teacher communicates with them, what they eat, what classes are held. The issue of walking is also very important. Often home kindergartens are located in apartments, and there is an opportunity to walk only in a small playground next to a busy highway.
Choose a kindergarten that has been in operation for several years. During the formation of the organization, personnel often change, which negatively affects the adaptation of the child to new conditions.
Most often, one or two groups are recruited in paid kindergartens. The first is a nursery, children from one and a half to three and a half years old go there. The second is for children from three and a half to seven. Children are given age-appropriate activities. Getting a variety of skills is very important for a child, and if the teacher cannot find an approach, then the desire to learn can disappear from the child forever. That is why, when choosing a private kindergarten, it is worth asking what kind of education the teacher has and how many years she has been working with children.
