Children meet strangers everywhere: on the way from school, in transport, on the playground. Of course, most of them are ordinary people who do not want to harm your child, but, unfortunately, some strangers can be far from harmless. And it's not always easy to tell good people from evil people with ease.
A stranger can be good-looking, well-dressed, and still plotting unkindness. How to teach a child to determine who to trust? As a rule, people in uniform are trustworthy: salesmen, conductors, doctors, police officers on duty. You can turn to them for help if necessary.
Explain to your child that if a stranger approached him and asked him to go together, watch cartoons at his house or look for his dog, which was lost somewhere behind the garages, in no case should you go. If the stranger insists, you need to loudly call for help. In addition, you cannot get into a car to a stranger, even if he says that he will take him to his parents.
Explain to your baby that if something seems suspicious to him, he should turn around and run away. Returning from school, it is advisable to walk in a group of several people, since this is much safer for children. The child must firmly learn that it is impossible to go with a stranger, even if he called the baby by name or said that he knows his parents.
Before going somewhere, the child should ask permission from adults so that they know where and with whom the baby is. Make sure he learns your phone number and always takes his cell phone with him. Then you can contact him at any time.
