The habit of sitting correctly can be brought up in a child only when the furniture matches his height. The height of the table, the height of the chair and their ratio are important.
It is necessary
- - a table, preferably with a crossbar (or with a bench under your feet);
- - chair;
- - a stand for textbooks.
Instructions
Step 1
When buying furniture, be guided by the following indicators: if the child's height is 110-119 cm, the height of the table and chair should be 52 and 32 cm, respectively; if the child's height is 120–129 cm, then the height of the table and chair should be 57 and 35 cm; if the child is above 130 cm, but below 140 cm, he will need a table and chair with a height of 62 and 38 cm; with a height of 140–149 cm, table and chair heights of 67 and 41 cm are required. Similarly, the height of the workplace can be calculated for older children.
Step 2
Also keep in mind that a table is convenient for practicing, which is 2-3 cm higher than the elbow of the child standing near it. If there is no special crossbar, then it is advisable to put a bench under the feet of the person sitting at the table. The child's legs should be bent at a right or obtuse angle. The palm should pass freely between the table and the child's chest.
Step 3
Note that school desks often have a sloping surface. This makes it easier for the eyes. If this is not possible at home, have the child place a textbook stand on the table surface at an angle of 30-40 degrees.
