Many children are not very fond of eating certain foods. Zucchini often belongs to this category. The tasteless fresh mass strives to be smeared all over the place. How to cook it so that the baby tastes good?
It is necessary
- - zucchini,
- - carrot,
- - tomatoes,
- - onion,
- - cabbage,
- - cucumber,
- - beets,
- - greens,
- - potatoes,
- - vegetable oil,
- - salt,
- - milk or mixture.
Instructions
Step 1
For steaming vegetable marrow puree (stew), use fresh or frozen marrow. Wash thoroughly and peel. Remove the insides and cut it into small pieces. Just do not cook a whole zucchini at once, it will turn out to be too much, and the puree will quickly deteriorate. Pour the zucchini into a double boiler and add some vegetables there: grated carrots, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage (plain, cauliflower or broccoli), beets, herbs and potatoes (boil it beforehand). Cook until tender (8-10 minutes). Drain and grind the resulting mass in a blender. If there is no blender, you can simply grate the finished zucchini or grind with a fork until smooth. Add a drop of olive oil, vegetable oil, or butter, a minimum pinch of salt, and some breast milk or formula (all optional). Mix well.
Step 2
If the child is more than one year old and your family eats meat, then you may well add a little it to the puree. The meat should be pre-boiled, it is better to use chicken. Vegetables can be safely put in any combination, all to taste and desire.
Step 3
You can boil the zucchini, stew or cook in the microwave (7-10 minutes), but it is preferable to use the above recipe, since it is safer for the digestive system. Especially if your baby is only a few months old and you are just starting to feed him. Either way, fine, healthy vegetable puree will be good food for your little one.
