Removing a greasy stain is a matter of honor for any housewife. Such spots appear for various reasons, but not everyone knows how to remove oily spots. At the same time, there are quite a few ways to deal with stains of this kind.
It is necessary
Gasoline, blotting paper, iron, bread crumb, tooth powder, turpentine, acetone, chalk powder
Instructions
Step 1
Moisten a fresh greasy stain with acetone, after it softens, remove the remaining stain with gasoline. Turpentine is also used to remove fresh stains if it does not change the color of the clothes.
Step 2
Place the soiled cloth on both sides with absorbent paper, heat the iron and run over the cloth - excess grease should remain on the absorbent paper. Repeat this procedure one more time. If you do not know how to remove a greasy stain, this method is the safest, since substances such as gasoline, acetone and turpentine can lead to discoloration of clothing at the site of contamination.
Step 3
Use chalk powder on a fresh, greasy stain on light-colored clothing. Let the chalk absorb the grease, then shake the clothes, clean them of the powder. Repeat this procedure as necessary until the stain disappears completely.
Step 4
Take a toothpowder and sprinkle it on the vegetable oil stain. After it has absorbed the oil, shake off any remaining powder from your clothes. Also, to get rid of oily plant-based stains, you can use bread crumb, it will absorb oil, and clothes will need to be washed in warm powder water.
